Billing and Insurance

Thank you for choosing Pediatric Associates for your child’s care. We understand that insurance and billing can be complex, which is why our billing team is here to help you navigate through any challenges you may have. Please reach out to us at (970) 249- 2421 with any questions or concerns.

Pediatric Associates is currently contracted with Medicaid and most major private payers. If you are unsure whether we can bill your specific plan, please contact your insurance provider to see if we are in network with them. Please be advised, any claims that process as out of network will be the responsibility of the patient.

Sliding Fee Scale Program

If you are currently uninsured but do not qualify for Medicaid you could be eligible for our Sliding Fee Scale program, please see our “forms library” for the required paperwork.

 

Healthshare Plans

At this time, we no longer accept Healthshare Plans. All patients with these plans are considered self-pay and payments are due at time of service. Upon request, our billing team can provide you with an itemized billing summary to submit to your plan for reimbursement.

Self-Pay Patients

For all self-pay patients, we offer a generous self-pay discount on all visit and procedure types done within our clinic. We also offer a membership program for both Behavioral Health and Medical visits. If you are interested in either of these options, please call or inquire at our front desk.

All insurance plans have a set time in which you can submit claims. If you provide us with your insurance information outside of that timely filing limit, your past claims are no longer billable to your insurance, and you are responsible for the bill.
