Dr. Greg received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Upstate New York and completed his residency training, including a year as chief resident, at Children’s Hospital of The Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia.
Greg enjoys all aspects of pediatric medicine, but has a special interest in developmental issues concerning children.
When he is not at work, you’ll find him backpacking, skiing, mountain biking and doing just about anything that involves the outdoors.
Dr. Liba joined our practice in 2010 and has been a wonderful addition. Her experience is with patients from birth to college age who have chronic conditions.
Dr. Liba practiced Pediatric Medicine in New Mexico for 10 years prior to joining our group. Although she came to us from New Mexico, she was born and raised in the Czech Republic
Dr. Liba received her Medical Doctor Degree at Charles University, Medical Facility in Prague, Czech Republic. She completed her Residency Training at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
During Dr. Liba’s free time, she is an avid outdoors enthusiast. She enjoys activities ranging from hiking, rock climbing, to ice climbing. She also enjoys good chocolate.
Dr. Vader is one of 11 kids from a Gunnison ranching family.
Her medical degree is from North Texas State University and her residency was a St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
Her definition of health is “being well both physically and mentally”. Her sense of humor and easy-going personality help encourage this philosophy.
Her area of interest and training is critical care medicine, child abuse and neglect. Her favorite hobbies are gardening and art.
Dr. Mira received her medical degree from Medical University in Gdansk, Poland and completed her residency training at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center, Brooklyn, NY.
She describes herself as being passionate for pediatrics. Dr. Mira enjoys all aspects of pediatrics; however her special interests are in mental health including behavioral problems in youngsters. She had been working in a rural area of Kentucky with numerous vulnerable children for about 8 years. She focused on providing them complex medical and mental health care and supporting parents in unlocking their children’s potential.
In her free time she loves skiing, hiking and any outdoor activity with her husband and two lovely dogs. She also enjoys music and movies. She loves Montrose for the excellent professional and recreational opportunities.
Our “Dr. Meo” has a special interest in caring for newborns as well as the prevention and treatment of infectious disease and diabetes. He believes the community plays an important role in assuring that youngsters achieve their full potential.
Dr. Meo received his medical education at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at the New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.
In his spare time, Dr. Meo enjoys music, gardening, bowling, working out in the gym, and spending time with our kids.
Dr. Teal is a native of Colorado. He received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Northern Missouri after finishing residency as a co-chief resident at UCSF-Fresno and Children’s Hospital of Central California.
While easily excited about all that pediatrics has to offer, Teal has a special interest in orthopedic issues in kids and sports medicine for our growing athletes.
When not at work, you will find him at the park with his family, or off exploring the beautiful natural treasures of Colorado.
Dr. Miller was born right here in beautiful Montrose and lived here until Middle School. His family then relocated to Arkansas, where he ultimately went to college and Medical School. He then joined the US Navy for medical school. During his seven years on active duty he was afforded the opportunity to care for children all over the world through Humanitarian deployments. He separated from the Navy in 2014 and worked as a General Pediatrician in the San Luis Valley in Alamosa, CO.
Dr. Miller enjoys all aspects of pediatrics. He very much enjoys the variety of practice that comes from being a rural Colorado pediatrician. He loves seeing everything from newborns to adolescents transitioning to college. He has been known to “nerd out” in scientific discussion with his interests in science and vaccine advocacy. Over the years he has found himself with a number of veteran’s children as well as a number of LGBTQ teens. He loves providing a safe place for all children to get the care they need.
When not at work, he enjoys playing in the mountains with his wife and two young sons. He also enjoys woodworking, rafting, kayaking, and cheering on the Broncos.
Jody Mack is a Colorado native. She grew up in Longmont and then moved to Grand Junction, graduating from Fruita Monument High School. She went to college in Iowa where she played soccer. She then traveled the country and attended graduate school in New Hampshire.
Jody has been a PA for over 15 years specializing in pediatric medicine. She feels practicing medicine is a team sport and it takes a village to raise healthy children. Jody has many years of experience working in pediatric mental health as well.
She recently returned to the western slope after living in Montana for several years. Jody only lives in beautiful states and loves the outdoors, hiking, kayaking and camping. She also loves to travel and lived in India during college as an exchange student.
You will find her spending time floating on lakes with her husband and two very spoiled dogs, Abbey and Guffy in her free time.
Laura Schley is a dedicated Physician Assistant in our growing practice. As a graduate of University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program, Laura has been fortunate to work with children and their families in many different settings, from developmental evaluations to orthopedics.
She enjoys the connections made in the primary care setting and is excited to be practicing at Pediatric Associates.
Originally from Oklahoma, Laura and her husband enjoy hiking, camping, snowshoeing as well as cooking, reading and playing with their dogs.
Scott has his Bachelors in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he was a Pediatric Acute Care RN for four years at the University of Virginia Medical Center’s Children’s Hospital.
He then became a PICU RN while attending Nurse Practitioner School at UVA. Scott has been the bedside RN for many childhood nightmares from car wrecks to cancer treatments to heart transplants.
Scott’s wife is a native of Colorado. With two small boys, a pasture of horses, and a small dairy goat herd, his familyloves to take advantage of the outdoor lifestyle in the Uncompahgre Valley.
